What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is the induction of a state of consciousness that bypasses the critical factor (your conscious mind) which allows you to be highly responsive to suggestion and direction. This high suggestibility state is used therapeutically to reduce and (when indicated) eliminate habits, pain, symptoms, panic, and other undesirable behavioral patterns, beliefs, and physical responses. The progress you will make during our sessions is enhanced and cemented with take home recordings.
What can hypnosis help?
Hypnosis can be applied to almost every issue and ailment.
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Diarrhea, bloating, constipation, gassiness, gut pain. Running to the bathroom as if your life depended on it. Not able to eat out, missing work and social engagements, taking every supplement and medication you’ve been told to take?

Sleepless nights, tossing and turning, treading back over the past day, week, month, year, decade, DECADES. Initial Appointment
Our initial appointment together will include a comprehensive assessment of your presenting issue, as well as background information. In addition to allowing me to get to know you better, gathering this information will enhance your hypnotic experience because, often, habits and physical manifestations are rooted in beliefs stemming from past experiences.
We will then move on to the induction and clinically appropriate hypnotherapy phases. This initial session typically lasts 90-120 minutes. Please note that if you are presenting for any medical issues (ie, pain, IBS, insomnia, fibromyalgia) I will require pre-approval from your medical provider.
